Turkey ranks first globally in web traffic driven by ChatGPT, with 94.49 percent of its artificial intelligence-based website referrals coming from the platform, according to the Digital 2026 Global Overview Report published by We Are Social and Meltwater.
The report said Turkey’s figure far surpasses the global average of 80.92 percent and puts it ahead of major digital markets including the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany.
The finding suggests that Turkish users rely more heavily on ChatGPT than users in most other countries when accessing online information, products and services.
The report also found that 39.7 percent of Turkish internet users aged 16 and older used ChatGPT in the past month, well above the global average of 26.5 percent.
Published annually since 2012, the report tracks global internet and social media trends across 240 countries and territories.
