Two Turkish soldiers sustained critical injuries in an Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) attack in Syria on Sunday, DHA reported.
According to the report, two Turkish soldiers who were among troops taking part in Operation Euphrates Shield, which began on Aug. 24, were wounded in an ISIL attack near Al Bab. Soldiers who were taken to Gaziantep for emergency care are said to be in serious condition.
One Turkish soldier was killed in another ISIL attack on Saturday.
Twelve Turkish soldiers have been killed during Operation Euphrates Shield since Aug. 24.
