The number of coronavirus cases in Turkey increased by 1,704 to 141,475 on Tuesday, according to a chart posted on Twitter by Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, as the death toll reached 3,894 with an increase of 53 fatalities.
In the last 24 hours 3,109 people with COVID-19 have recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 98,889.
Turkey has conducted 1,440,671 tests since March after the announcement of its first coronavirus case.
A total of 1,045 patients are still in intensive care, with 576 of them on ventilators.
Turkey eased its coronavirus measures on Monday, reopening malls, hairdressers and beauty salons.
