Erdoğan advisor: Germany is behind all evil

Must read

Professor Burhan Kuzu, an advisor to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy, has said Germany is behind all evil activities in Turkey including the Gezi Park protests of 2013.

“I used to say Germany is behind all evil activities including Gezi, but some people used to say, ‘Come on.’ Have you seen it now?” said Kuzu in a message from his Twitter account on Sunday.

In another message, Kuzu also accused the German president, prime minister and some lawmakers of supporting the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

Germany strongly criticized the arrest of both Cumhuriyet daily editors and pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) deputies last week.

Professor Kuzu is notorious for his scandalous tweets, mostly targeting government opponents both at home and abroad.

In October, he argued in a tweet that a Russian jet was shot down by people from the Gülen movement on Nov. 24, 2015, with the knowledge of the United States.

Kuzu also accused Washington of helping all the terrorist organizations in the region: “So-called ally. Of course this was noted somewhere.”

On the 15th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the US, he argued in a tweet that the United States staged 9/11 itself.

In August, Kuzu attacked and slurred Austrian Prime Minister Christian Kern, who questioned Turkey’s European Union and NATO membership, and said: “F..k off, infidel. EU is sinking & NATO is nothing without Turkey.”
