Must read

At least 4,055 Syrian refugees have returned to Jarabulus since late August, after Turkey-backed rebel forces captured the Syrian border town from the terrorist Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

A Turkish official told the Anadolu news agency that the Syrians began to return to the city after it was liberated from Daesh, the Arabic acronym for ISIL.

The situation in Jarabulus is said to be normal and quiet while Turkey-allied rebels push south and capture village after village from ISIL militants. Since Turkey’s entry into Syria, the last stretches of the border are have been cleared of extremist militants.
