Police officers from Counterterrorism Unit of İstanbul Police Department organized an anti-terror operation in İstanbul’s Sultangazi district early on Friday.
Special operations force and riot police reportedly supported the operation.
A number of suspected terror organization members were detained after police officers raided nearly 20 houses in the district and searched them.
The detainees underwent a medical check in Haseki Training and Research Hospital in İstanbul’s Fatih district before being sent to İstanbul Police Department for questioning.
