Six members of the Turkish parliament have tested positive for COVID-19, raising the number of infected lawmakers to 11, the Diken news website reported on Tuesday.
A total of 43 cases have been detected in parliament, including employees.
The deputies were put in quarantine at an Ankara hospital, while four others who have recovered were released. A total of seven lawmakers are currently undergoing treatment, according to the report.
One deputy, ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) member Emin Akbaşoğlu, is in intensive care.
