Floods caused by torrential rain in central Turkey have killed one person and left one missing, Agence France-Presse reported, citing authorities and media.
The body of a 52-year-old shepherd was found near the town of Kırşehir about four kilometers (2.5 miles) from where he went missing, the Demirören news agency reported late Saturday.
Rescue teams were helping people trapped in their homes after landslides in the region, the report added. The governor of Kayseri province, Gökmen Çiçek, said on the social media platform X that one person was missing.
The neighboring province of Sivas was also hit by floods.
