Turkish Airlines said it is extending the suspension of all its flights into June due to the coronavirus outbreak, the SeeNews website reported.

Domestic flights will remain grounded until June 4, while international flights will be suspended until June 10, the Turkish flag carrier said in a notice on Wednesday.

Previously, the carrier said all flights would be suspended until May 28.

In March Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ordered the suspension of all international flights to and from the country in an effort to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

Turkey registered 152,587 coronavirus infections as of Wednesday, with the death toll reaching 4,222, the country’s directorate of communications said.
