Turkish Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said on Friday that the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) has been extraordinarily active in Turkey in the last month and a half, the Diken news website reported.

“ISIL is more active than it has been in the last three years,” Soylu told reporters in İstanbul. “Our security units are on high alert.”

“We can’t afford any weaknesses in our stability. Our security forces are carrying out critical operations. We can’t make all of them public,” he added.
