The Israeli National Anti-Terror Bureau on Monday issued a security warning for Israeli tourists in the Sinai and Turkey due to the threat of an “immediate” terror attack by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and al-Qaeda.
According to Israeli media, the warning urged Israeli citizens not to travel to either destination during the upcoming Jewish Passover.
The National Anti-Terror Bureau underlined that the possibility of an attack is greater than in the past.
Five people including three Israelis were killed and 39 others were injured in a suicide bomb attack on March 19, 2016 in central Istanbul, on bustling İstiklal Avenue.
