Turkish Parliament Speaker İsmail Kahraman, who recently underwent surgery at an Ankara hospital, has been taken to an intensive care unit after a deterioration in his health.
Kahraman had an operation last week when doctors noticed he was suffering from an aortic infection.
He is from the ranks of the Justice and Development Party (AKP) government.
