Turkish media has reported that the Russian ambassador to Turkey was shot while speaking at an art gallery in Ankara.
His condition is still unknown.
A Hürriyet correspondent said on CNNTürk that the attacker reportedly entered the building after displaying a police ID and shot the ambassador in the back.
The ambassador reportedly made some comments about the situation in the Syrian city of Aleppo during his speech.
