[VIDEO] Turkish PM: We got here by smashing those who raised up against AKP

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim (C) gives a speech during the opening ceremony of "Abdullah Gul Museum and Library" on Dec. 4, 2016.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said on Sunday that the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) government got to where it is by fighting against tutelage, conspiracies and smashing those who raised up against the AKP.

Speaking during a meeting at the Kayseri Chamber of Industry on Sunday, Yıldırım said there are power centers conspiring against the Turkish economy.

Underlining that his party has been in power for 14 years, he said the AKP has served the people of Turkey while fighting against tutelage and conspiracies.

“During the 14-year rule of the AKP government, we didn’t only serve the nation. We have fought against tutelage and conspiracies in these 14 years. While not hampering government services, we smashed the heads of those who raised up [against the AKP],” Yıldırım said.
