A court in Turkey’s eastern Muş province on Monday arrested three politicians from the pro-Kurdish Democratic Regions Party (DBP), including Malazgirt District Mayor Halis Coşkun.
Çoşkun, Malazgirt municipal council member Memnune Söylemez and DBP district chairman Mehmet Burhanlı were detained on Nov. 18 on charges of links to the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) as part of an investigation launched by the Muş Public Prosecutor’s Office.
