The Turkish government has arrested a total of 39,378 people and detained another 92,607 since a failed coup attempt on July 15, Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ said on Monday.

According to a report that appeared on news website Diken on Tuesday, Bozdağ said people have been arrested or detained over their alleged links to the Gülen movement, accused by the government of masterminding the coup attempt on July 15.

Bozdağ also stated that the arrests and detentions will continue until every single Gülenist is found within state institutions. (Turkey Purge)
