One of the most prominent figures in Turkish literature, Vedat Türkali, has passed away at the age of 97.
Türkali died due to multiple organ failure at Yalova State Hospital in the early hours of Monday.
Türkali’s daughter Deniz announced the news from her Twitter account. “We lost our father, Vedat Türkali,” she wrote.
