The Turkish Foreign Ministry has condemned Israeli airstrikes against Gaza that wounded several civilians at a time when the two countries have achieved a full reconciliation after the Turkish Parliament approved a deal ending the rift between them.

In a statement posted its website, the Turkish Foreign Ministry said attacks that target civilians are unacceptable.

It remains to be seen how Israel will react to the Turkish condemnation of its latest strikes.

The Haaretz recently reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan may visit Israel in September.
