Erdoğan accuses West of being ‘superior mind’ behind PKK

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Thursday blamed the western countries of being the “superior mind” behind the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and indirectly causing the destruction in Southeastern Turkey.

Erdoğan said that the state will rebuild the cities in southeastern Turkey, which were destroyed during the clashes between the PKK terrorists and security forces. He also called out to the western countries, “You showed them [the destruction in the cities] on your TV stations, did not you? You said that there is a civil war in Turkey. There is not a civil war in Turkey . There are the destructions of those you fed.”

The president claimed that the destructions in the area were cleared and the cities were rebuild.

The violence in the predominantly Kurdish Southeastern Turkey has erupted since the collapse of a ceasefire between Turkish government and the PKK last July.
