NATO chief Rutte to visit Turkey for talks on Monday

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte will travel to Ankara on Monday for high-level talks with Turkish representatives, the alliance announced on Friday, as reported by the state-run Anadolu news agency.

Rutte will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Defense Minister Yaşar Güler.

The visit will also include talks with representatives of the Turkish defense industry and a tour of the Turkish Aerospace Industries facilities.

This is Rutte’s first official visit to Ankara since taking office as NATO chief.
