Turkey has announced the second death caused by the novel coronavirus, while the number of confirmed cases had increased to 191 as of Wednesday.
“We have lost a 61-year-old male patient. May Allah rest his soul. Today’s test results show that obeying the government’s measures is extremely necessary. Ninety-three new cases were confirmed, and treatment has begun,” Health Minister Fahrettin Koca tweeted late on Wednesday.

First seen in the Chinese city of Wuhan, COVID-19, caused by the novel coronavirus, has spread rapidly around the world, infecting more than 200,000 people worldwide and killing nearly 9,000.
