Erdoğan visits Saudi Arabia 5 times since becoming president

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has paid five official visits to Saudi Arabia since August 2014, when he became president, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported on Thursday.

According to Anadolu, Erdoğan made 86 visits to foreign countries, with Saudi Arabia being his top destination followed by Russia.

Erdoğan visited Saudi Arabia five times, Russia four times and Qatar and Kuwait three times each.

He traveled to Turkey’s historic allies Turkish Cyprus, Azerbaijan and Pakistan, three times each. He also visited China, France and Belgium three times.

Erdoğan has traveled to the US, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Japan, India, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, Chile, Peru, Ecuador and 15 African countries since August 2014.
