UN sends aid to Syria from Turkish border

A United Nations delegation was at Cilvegözü, a border gate to Syria, on Monday sending humanitarian aid to Syria.

Ramesh Rajasingham, UN deputy regional humanitarian coordinator for the Syria crisis, held a press conference at the border gate in Reyhanlı on the Turkish-Syrian border. The trucks, which arrived empty from Syria, were loaded with commodities from Turkish trucks and headed back into Syria under a UN monitoring mission.
