One soldier died in a PKK mortar attack on the Derecik Gerdan Tepe military base area in the Şemdinli district of Hakkari province.

Two PKK militants were killed by a military drone in Hakkari’s Çukurca district.

According to the state-run Anadolu news agency, 932 terrorists have been killed in Hakkari province since July 2015.

More than 7,000 PKK terrorists have been killed in army operations, while PKK terrorist attacks have resulted in the deaths of more than 600 security personnel and also claimed the lives of many civilians, including women and children, since July 2015, the Turkish General Staff said in a statement on Thursday.
