1 Turkish soldier killed in ISIL attack in Syria

One Turkish soldier was killed and two others were wounded in an Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) attack in Syria on Saturday, DHA reported.

According to the report, three Turkish soldiers who were among troops taking part in Operation Euphrates Shield, which began on Aug. 24, were wounded in an ISIL bomb attack near Al Bab. One of the soldiers taken to Gaziantep for emergency care died at the hospital.

The number of Turkish soldiers killed during Operation Euphrates Shield has now reached 12.
