THY cancels flights to 22 destinations  

As a result of shrinking demand due to economic stagnation and terror attacks, Turkish Airlines (THY) has cancelled flights to 22 domestic and international destinations, DHA reported on Monday.

According to the report, after cancelling five domestic and 17 international routes, THY took 30 aircraft out of service. Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 298 airplanes.

For the winter season that started last week, THY cancelled fights to the following destinations:

Batna, Tlemcen, Aalborg, Bordeaux, Karlsruhe/Baden Baden, Freidrichshafen, Münster, Kermanshah, Genoa, Pisa, Aqaba, Osh, Rotterdam, Kano, Al Qassim, Khujand and Ivano Frankivsk .

THY also cancelled domestic flights to Eskişehir, Tokat, Edremit and Siirt .
