1 soldier killed, 2 wounded in PKK attack

A first lieutenant died and two soldiers were wounded in an attack on Tuesday launched by the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in the Lice district of Diyarbakır province.

The PKK attacked the construction site of a police station in the Kıllıhane Hill military base region with rockets and long-barreled rifles, targeting the soldiers who were guarding the site.

The Diyarbakır Governor’s Office announced the losses as well as a counter-attack against the PKK.
