Endless summer in Turkey with clocks to remain permanently on daylight saving time
The Turkish government has decided not to adjust clocks every spring and fall to take advantage of longer days and will set Turkey permanently on daylight saving time, the state-run Anadolu news agency reported on Thursday.
According to a Cabinet decision published in the Official Gazette on Thursday, Turkey will not switch back to standard time at 4:00 a.m. on Oct. 30 as planned and will continue to use daylight saving time, which was set at 3:00 a.m. on March 27.
